Why no posting in the News forum

How come the News forum is locked? I always like to read the comments that people post when new items or when there are new announcments.

For now we wanted it "read only". We may change that later after the site is more established. The forum is a work in progress as we find out what works well and what doesn't. Suggestions always welcome and considered.

Hey David,

Can you make the news forum be "Reply Only" - so that the RCDriver staff can create new "News" threads, yet members can only reply to the post and not create an actual thread itself. :)
