Hey All I now have a Micro-DT added to my collection and simply love this thing. I take it everywhere I go. I have been adding hop-ups along the way and wanted to share it with everyone here.So here are a few of the pics I have been stacking up in my photobucket account. Hope youl all like my vision of what i thought this little bugger should look like and run. I have installed the Brushless motor and Li-po battery first. Then went with bearings, threaded axels, and now added some bling to it as well. I painted up a new body for it as well. I have been using it at our track that is set up for 1/8 scale but works just the same by me. I would recomend this Losi truck to anyone and of any skill level.L8R,WrenchHead.
Within a week i had to start the build out of this sucker.

can you get a brushlees system for the micro t
Yes you can , infact I just put one in my Micro DT , fast and torquey and loooong runtimes !
You do need to get a different radio system , servo , servo saver though .

Brushless all the way. Look at the first photo again. That pic was taken only a week after getting this little bugger. Just put in the 10250Kv motor and am lovin it BIG time. Loads of fun in the house, garage and driveway. The local park has these great tennis courts too. Tire decals are from an older Parma slot car sticker kit. They are like 1/32 scale but fit well. They are water slide decals so if you want them to last all you have to do is after drying dip a Q-tip in CA glue and go over them lightly. They will last a long time but not forever. I am looking at a bigger Li-Po and should get 1 hour run time. Thanks for the kind words guys. Glad you all like it. L8R,Wrench.

THanks for all the kind words fellas. I have not found a bigger Li-Po that still fits in the DT battery box. Still looking though. Don't want to hack on anything. Thinking of making my own C/F chassis to fit a bigger battery first then build off of that. L8R,Wrench.

Thanks , but I am all ready there with the threaded axels and bearings , not gonna do any alloy unless something breaks . I do have the 3 Racing gearbox and recommend it , its been quite a long time since I had to rebuild my diff/tranny .

By the time you add it all up I got close to $400 into my micro-DT. $90 for thee truck.$70 for the Fm recv.$60 for motor and ESC,$30 for the servo and saver.$40 for 1 Li-Po battery and charger,That is not any of the Alloy goodies as well as extra body and wheels. It can and does add up fast.Having this much fun is priceless.L8R,Wrench.

Hey All; I get most of my stuff local.I try and support my LHS as much as possible.Great peeps with killer advice as well. I also shop, online fi it need be. I buy alot of micro and mini stuff fron www.thetoyz.com. RJ rules and the shipping is so fast it make my head spin. The larger Li-Po for my micro came from a friends old video camers.Run times into the 30 min range but the Losi Li-Po has more kick. You have to give up something to gain something. The rims and tires are Losi stuff I have yet to need to swap to others. There are quite a few companies making nice wheel and tire combo's.L8R,Wrench.

First off just wanted to say your truck is sick!!! Just got the micro raminator. Do you know if most of the parts are compatible? My wife has the micro-t and it looks a tad different.

O my gosh! just thought of something. Wut if I made a custom chassis that could fit a rear axle set (with the transmission and motor) and put it in the front for four-wheel drive? That would be crazy! I'm just really in the need for a project because my house is pretty boring.

Well, thought of an alternate idea. Maybe I could put a 1/18 scale axles on there with seperate metal rods for linkage and 1/18 shocks. Just a thought...Anyone know of smaller 1/18 axles?

Well nitrobasher, you don't need a DSM radio (although it is prefered, and is a better choice but is ver very expensive. Losi came out with a receiver that has all the right connecters ans stuff and a servo with the right connecters both combined for $37.99 . Here's a website: http://www.losi.com/Products/Features.aspx?ProdId=LOSB0830

For your second question, I don't know. I checked their website and it doesn't have like you said. I think that maybe they accidently did it, and they haven't noticed yet. Hope this helped.
