Hey guys! Just thought I would post a couple of pictures of some LED lights I installed. I used hot glue to hold the wires and lights in place and velcro with sticky back to hold the battery. Used a dremel tool to make holes for the led's and just mounted the switch in the back window area. The lights are really bright and look cool running at night. The lights weigh next to nothing, really the only weight added is the 9v battery.

Well, I don't have any blueprints but I will take some closer pictures so you can see better. It really is'nt very hard as long as you know how to solder and make a circuit. Thanks guys!

Whats the battery life with a 9 volt?
Very good install, looks great. I have a Chevy Caprice black and white patrol car I plan on setting up with a flashing light bar, head lights and tails. I still need to do my homework on a flasher though.
that looks really cool was it hard to do???

Well, I'm not really sure yet. I installed the lights and this battery back in november and its a battery that came out of my smoke alarm and its is still working great! These LED lights have a very low current draw and they don't produce any heat, so they are perfect for this. They can be mounted against the body or anything for that matter without the worry of getting hot. E-bay does sell a set of flashing LED lights that look super cool. A patrol car with flashing light would be awsome!

that looks really cool was it hard to do??? No it's pretty easy really, If you know how to solder wires and make a circuit with lights, switch and battery. I used hot glue to hold the wires that works great unless you are doing some really serious bashing then you should go over the wires and hot glue with duct tape or some type of strong tape. The hot glue just won't quite hold up to serious bashing. Thanks! :D
