hey guys i was looking at my wheely king lower 4-link mounts and i saw that if i rotated the mounts on the axle to the side, i would get about a 1/4" of length added. so all i did was dremel a small hole in the mount right behind the second position on the lower link mount so that the set-pin of the shocks end would fit in conjunction of the lower link:

before:

after:

the only money youll have to spend is on the 12" of 4-40 all-thread ($1.30) for the top link because the axle would be at a wrong angle and the driveshaft would slip out and the camber would be off. the second thing youll have to buy is the 3031 1/4 x .049 Round Tube (K&S) (x2) ($2.49) which will act as a spacer for the top link. now i havent got the top link fully buttoned up yet but i will have it by the time you get done reading this. i found that the overall length is a tad over 11 3/4" and the stability is greatly improved!

heres a slideshow of all i have done:

ok i lied a bit because the traxxas driveshafts im gettin are like $11 sum odd dollars. so its like under $20. lol

nice tip! that is a good way to add a little length. the stock WK sure does need the extra stability

this also gives it more clearance which is good for on the rocks.
