What do you guys look for in a starter box? Are the dual motors better than the single big mototr? Is it better to use a lead acid battery or a 2 6 cell stick packs? I say this because I am about to get an old Mugen MTX2 and I will need a starter box for it and want to get the best one.

I have a ofna chrome top 1/8th scale box (dual motors)and it turns my Lrp spec3 truggy motor over just fine. I went with the big 12 volt battery and Im pretty sure this is much better than two stick packs. I use my sears 12 volt battery charger on it and it only takes a little bit to charge and the thing lasts a long time. Be careful b/c those huge starter boxes (the ones with a gigantic motor) are sometimes to BIG. I was in my local hobby shop and seen a buddy of mine returning his b/c the wheel was so big it wouldnt fit inbetween the chassis slot and he couldnt even get it to touch the fly wheel.

I've always used the OFNA boxes along with the single motor. That was until I saw a dual motor starter box. If you have the extra money, get the dual motors. They work extremely well..
