I saw this body on eBay and had to have it  Must have come from seeing a certain movie too many times during my misspent youth.

Spent about two hours painting the bird by hand, and doing the pinstrips using Pactra striping tape from the inside before painting.

Wheels are HPI mesh, painted gold. They're pretty close to the TA's snowflake wheels. As close as I'll find without buying a Monogram 1/8 scale model for $100, anyway.

Wow that looks t_ts.Boy does that bring back the memories. When I was a kid 10-13 my older brother had one of those for real.He was a trucker and was in Love with Smoky and the Bandit.I really like the way you left the T-Tops clear. He waited about 8 months for the car after ordering from the dealer.Man did he go through tires with that car.Kind of like my Dodge Dakota R/T 5.9L 360V-8 Magnum eats tires in less than 15000 miles.Way kool car body man.Later WrenchHead.:D

Is that "Trigger" or "Son of Trigger?" :) Looks great, nice job! Now you'll need a tamiya semi and box trailer for snowman's ride

If that were a display body, not a driver, cutting the roof to make it have open t-tops would look sharp as heck.
Nice work on the Bird.

That is one sweet ride. I would love to have a 77 TA of my own. Too bad they're expensive. Nice work on the flaming chicken on the hood. Exceptional detail.
