With the tightening of the financial strings this year I was presented with a delema. No money for the R/C hobby....eeeek! But my wife presented me with a proposal to remedy this situation. Sell my E-Maxx and use the procedes to buy what i want which is a clod buster and a lunchbox. My first reaction was to hug my truck like Tom Hanks with Wilson and say never. But as time went by I thought Hey two for one? So I have decided to sell my truck on E-bay. Procedes go to the Bash'er Maxx save my hobby fund. So far no bids but I am hopeful. I believe I'm giving it away due to all the upgrades and extras but time will tell.

The starting bid is $300. It has $250 in upgrades plus with it goes all the stock parts. Here's the link.

It doesn't have the front skid plate installed but it comes with a set of aluminum skids still in the package. The only other thing it needs is an antenna mount.
The 600 in upgrades is a typo thats what I have in it total.

It sold and was shipped today. I am feeling........not sure how i'm feeling right now but it sold for 265 after a mess up at ebay. So in a few days I will be recieveing my clod with servo and bearing set from tower. I finally decided to go with a clod over a TXT. Though the TXT is a better machine the aftermarket for a clod is second to none (maybe traxxas trucks have better aftermarket but I'm done with traxxas). Thanks for the replies and happy bash'in. Now that I no longer have a traxxas truck i wonder if the guys here at RCD will let me change my name to Bash'er Clod.
nice, how much did it sell for??

It sold for $265.10 after something happened at ebay. I had the starting bid at 300 and a buy it now for 400 but for some reason on the last day the buy it now was gone and the starting bid was 250. I never changed it but i felt bad for the guy who won the aution so I let it go for that. I had over 6 in it so the guy got a great truck for what he paid.
ok cool. that is a good price what are you going get with the money.

I have just ordered a Clod Buster with the duratrax bearing set and a tower hobbies super torque servo. I plan on using the radio equipment out of a super hornet that i have laying around. I don't plan on upgrading as much as i did on the E-Maxx. It won't be doing anything other than climbing small stuff. Plus I have a wild dagger I plan on converting over to a monster truck so that will pretty much take up the rest of my budget for the year.

It came wednesday. The thing for which i sent away. So far i have the main chassis all assembled and the front and rear gear boxes. It is alot bigger than I thought it would be. (The tires are a show stopper when you first open the box.) I have been working on it when I get off work with my three year old. He helps with the screw driver and when he gets bored we roll one of those big tires back and forth across the room. I am savoring the assembly and letting my boy help. My stable is now tamiya only. And I like it.

wtf??? Your starting bid was mysteriously lowered by $50 and you let it slide? I'd be all over eBay about that....no sale!

I was livid believe me. That and free shipping in the U.S. turned into worldwide. I was going to pull the plug but according to E-bay it was too late. A guy in Arizona ended up with it and the shipping was $80.00. So the commercial was right, that guy shopped victoriously and I ended up with after all fees about $190.00. But I can't complain too much I got rid of a truck I didn't want to upgrade or run anymore and go back to my roots (Tamiya). In the end I'm happy.
