View Full Version : Brushless Micro-t problems

So I was tired of the dumb stock esc/reciever on the micro, so I went all out and replaced the whole works.

I got the brushless xcelerion combo
I got the jr sport servo
and I'm using a Associated reciever and transmitter.

I put dean plugs on everything but the motor, installed everything, and now when I run the car, I get EXTREMELY BAD glitchy/choppy movement from my car. I'm still using the stock NimH battery, but I made sure to program the brushless esc accordingly.

I have no idea what the problem is, I installed everything perfectly. I am starting to wonder if I got some faulty electronics somewhere in the car, like the esc.

Any solutions would be extremely appreciated.

it's the AE receiver i can tell you right now. I really hate AE and consider myself unfortunate to have an rc18t (parents dont let me sell on ebay...yet...)

rc18 is fun to mod but not much fun to drive outside .i'm just nitro spoiled i guess

i have driven my rc18b outside and it gets filled with dirt and makes bad noises if only they made dust boots for the rear end

it might be the stock nimh battery. i have a micro desert brushless with jr sm22 servo and excelorin combo with cirrus transmitter and receiver. mine did the exact same thing so i went to the lhs and bought the lipo combo now it goes 40+. so i think that is the problem
