It's been many years since last time I enjoyed the fun of an RC (1991ish), and I'm looking at getting back into it. First car was a Shogun buggy that I had to build from scratch. Lately I'm bugging the cats with a new mini truck from Losi. I'm looking at the new E-MAXX due to the water proof and ability to drive in snow. Being in Calgary, AB, Cnd. there is plenty of snow for half the year. Most driving will be in new subdivision areas(I work new home construction), so there is plenty of unpacked dirt and way to many options for wasting away the hours.
Any advice that you could send my way as to what to look for or buy. Money's almost not a problem. And also with the batteries, how long will they run for, and is there quick chargers? :)

I am not 100 % on the new emaxx, but the one I have will last around 15-20 minutes on a charge depending on how it is driven. But I got crappy batteries too. Yes, there are quick chargers out there, but you will want to get a peak detecting charger as it helps the battery life and performance of the truck. With quick chargers, you usually either over or under charge the batteries. I would suggest getting 1 or 2 sets of 4200 mah batteries, and a few sets of cheaper batteries. If you are like me, you will hate waiting on 2 batteries to charge, so I got 6 sets of batteries for mine. While I run, I have 2 batteries on the charger so I do not run out until I am ready to put her up. Also, they do have some chargers out there that charge 2 batteries at once.
