Since I am currently considering buying a new nitro r/c, and since I am trying to keep my options open, I have recently become interested in buggies. I don't really have the time to build a kit, and like things RTR, so the two buggies I am interested in are the Losi Eight RTR and the Assocaited RC8 RTR. The buggy will more than likely spend 95% of the time bashing and maybe 5% on a track, maybe racing. Which one of these buggies is best for the basher, and which one has the best bang for the buck? I like the low-slung profile of a buggy and the low weight/CG. Any feedback you guys have is great and much appreciated. Thanks.

WHOAAAAAA!!!!!!!! 95% bashing and buying those buggies?!?!?!?!?! no way man, those are race-only buggies on my list, try an Ofna buggy, they are really really good buggies (my friend jonelzoe with tell you that) for both bashing and racing....

I think that either of those buggies will make good bashers. You are correct that they are more high end buggies, but that does not make them bad bashers, only expensive bashers. I agree with pedboi that you can get more bang for your buck with an OFNA or a Sportwerks buggy, but the Losi and the Associated are excellent choices. And besides if you get bit by the racing bug, you will have two of the best buggies out there if you get the Losi or the Associated.
