Broken connections.

I just heard from a friend. He and another friend have had problems with the speed control's on thier Traxxas Rustlers. He told me that a wire has come off the speed control and he had to solder it back on. I believe he said it was the negative wire. Has anyone had a simular problem. I haven't had any problems with my Rustler yet. But,then I don't have much time to run mine because I'm usualy kept busy driving this truck.

lmao, i just had to resolder my battery wires on my novak super sport plus ESC (in a stampede) and the negitive came off like 5 times before i got it on there really good. It's probably just a slight manufacturing defect, but oonce you have everything soldered up nice and good, you should be fine...also, is this an XL-5 or VXL ESC? and what batts. is he using??

They are all VXL Rustlers. My freinds were using Lipo's. I'm sticking with 7-cell. If I have any probs with mine,I'll try upgrading.
