depends on what you do with ur buggy...race buggiesi'd say 8ight or R8 (or whatever the new AE buggy is) and for bashing...the sportwerks turmoil looks pretty good but Ofna has great rep as well...

Jammin makes great products, good support and they have some serious race cred. too. Its alittle more pricey than a straight basher rig, but it can get you on the track racing pretty competively too. radio and steering servo could use a upgrade though.

jammin' is great, they're one of the top racing companies out there along side AE, losi, Mugen, and MRC... IMO get one of each for racing :D but for bashing too, i'd go with something like the sportwerks turmoil, or the ofna LX one

IMO Mugen MBX-5 Prospec or RR or whatever its called now. I race like a mad man, heavy throttle finger, and tend to run into stuff and my buggy wont ever break. It dominates at the race track and is so reliable there is nothing to worry about. Paired up with my Vspec in it and the 94358Z servos it is a perfect buggy IMO. I was talking to people last month at the hobby show who were the only authorized destributers of Team Magic in the US and was checking out there rigs there and the new M1. Let me tell you, the M1 is a beauty:cool: I havent driven one yet so I couldnt tell you but it looks like it has great potential. Other good buggys are the 8eight and the RC8FT from AE. I am good friends and race with Jared Tebo's cousin and Matt(JT's cuz) has a full ride with CEN and races their buggys. After a lot of dialing it in they are very compeditive. He is keeping up with scotty & Chris(Both AE sponsored) at the track quite easily. Racing is 10% buggy, 90% driver.

I would have to agree with savagegozoom on the alot of that. I too have a mbx5 (half converted to the R). They are very tough and known for thier reliability. They are also known for being one of the best in the biz on outdoor tracks. Their is going to be a alot of new buggies and updates for others this year since the worlds is coming up. I myself would wait to see what mugen comes out with for the worlds first. They are due for a completely new desing.
