Naw, shes mine. Just a test day, nothing major. I did find my heavy springs made a world of difference on handling. Now, I need to gear it even lower, slap back on my dually adapters, and have some fun. For better wheelies, I need to up the pinion gears 2-4 teeth, and remove the wheely bar(most important.).

yeah, I work out....lmao

There was another calf that crossed the creek to chase it down, that is when I lost the reciever. I could not choose my line very well at 20+ mph and slightly in the air. So, I dove right off in the deep end. sank it up just over the batteries. It was fun though.

That is my father in laws place, well accually his dads, but they both live on and work the land. He is deeding me over 10 acres, and part of that 10 has some good wash outs to play in. That spot in the creek is just under a quarter mile from where my 10 is, so.... Also, there are a few large dams to climb, many cattle trails to terrorize my shocks, and a few other rough creek bed crossings. Will be fun.

if you dry out that reciver it will work again, its not hard to open the case up to really let it dry out

I did open the casing up. Then used alcohol, and a blow dryer to speed up the evep time. Put them all back together and the range got up to around 20 yards or so. I need to try it again soon to see if the receiver is working any better yet. It has rained alot since I shot the vid, so, when it dries out some more, I can take her out for a spin. By the way, heavy springs can make a lot of difference in handling. I went from not being able to turn to turning at 15 mph or so, as sharp as I can turn it. Strong runner for sure. Now I just need to find a better esc that can handle the power of the revolvers with a much higher pinion gear...like a 24 tooth. Any idea's??? Needs to be able to run 2 engines at once.

i would recommend the novak superduty...if that's what your running now then im not really sure.

I have the stock novak evx-2. It will not take stock gears with these revolver's. I need something that will tolerate these motors with 28 tooth pinions or less. Heck, there is no reason to have the 28 tooth gears if I cannot run them ya know. ;)

how about the new EVX for the E-maxx? i have seen them out on the bay pretty reasonable. i don't know the specs offhand, but i hear they are beefier than the old EVX. Casle Creations makes a few solid ESC's as well.

I went out a few minutes ago to give this e-maxx another run. Well, the reciever is still a bit on the toasted side, but works up to around 40-50 foot. Now, another problem I now have is I must have overtightened the screw that holds inplace the right front shock on the lower a arm. It popped loose like a loose tooth tied to a string. Just POP, it's outta there. I continued to run however, and soon lost the spring and other shock components right off there. I guess it was the semi-rough landings caused from my ramp. I need to get the shock and reciever fixed so I can get a vid. This thing will fly. I lowered the tooth count on the spur, ( I thought I was running a 84 tooth, but musta been on another truck or something), I went from a 70 tooth to a 66 tooth, and did not see much increase in speed or acceleration, but I also got a little bit of dampness on the slipper, so it slipped a little too easily. I am still running 14 tooth pinions. I think I got close to 4-5 foot lift on the jump, and around 10-12 foot depending on ramp entry angle. I liked being to able to set my ramp about a foot from the side of the driveway, and the truck crossing the driveway to land a few feet into the neighbors yard. I hope he don't mind the tore up lawn, lol:D
