I'm looking to buy an electric car kit but I don't know what kind to choose. Any help or advise?:o

stampede, either VXL or XL-5 depending... or a rusty if u go to the track with it...

ture dat ^^^ really, anything traxxas is a good electric (IMO) other good companies are... none that i can think of right now :D ya, traxxas all the way baby!!

He said electric CAR KIT. Ya bunch of ninnies, traxxas has only 1 kit, revo platinum, and it is only a partial kit and is a MT and Nitro. I hear some really good things about the TC3 and TC5 from AE. You may want to check into those.

the big T has a kit somewhere...i havent seen it inna while tho! lol tamiya has TONS of kits and most are electric

I am still with ya there buddy. You ain't getting one up on me, lol. Tamiya does have alot out. But race wize, go to your LHS, see what everyones running, what parts are in stock, value of the kit and parts. And that should help you choose.

PS- They discountinued the TC3, but still make parts for it.

TC4 if ya really arent into racing but if you are into racing then the TC5 is the way to go. I had a TC3 once, but got bit by the offroad bug and all my vehicles now are offroad.

Your question is very wide open.
I would suggest that you do some research to see what type of vehicle you might like and then ask the question again. You will get just as wide a variety of anwers but directed more toward the type of vehicle you are interested in.
Here are some questions to get you started.

On Road or Off Road?

Do you have RC Experience?

Do you want to race or just run for fun?

If you are new to the hobby and will primarily be running for fun, I suggest you look at some type of Off Road Truck. You can run it in the street and in the yard and at the track if you want to try racing.
This is just a start....
How much do you have to spend? LOL!! We will help you spend it!!! LOL!!
