Hey guys, I just purchased new batteries for my HPI E-Firestorm. I got Peak Racing Power Max Pro 3300mAh Ni-MH batteries. I was wondering what type of charger I will need. I thought my old charger would do it, but its only rated for 1700mAh. Can anyone suggest a something decent thats not too too expensive. Thanks.

best charger ever: Dynamite Vision Peak 2. I use it to peak my 1600mah rc18t batts. as well as my 3600mah stampede packs (both 6-cell) the charger can charge from 4-7 cells and the best part: it's only $40

Pedeboi is right. I have the same charger, and I charge my 1500 nicd all the way up to my 4500 nimh packs. And a few 7 cells I J-rigged up.

MRC super brains are really good chargers, but some have to many capabilities for what the average basher needs... (lol, now everyone is gonna pull the "there's no such thing as too many capabilities" thing...arg)

I use a multiplex multi charger

it is DC only because it is for planes but I took apart an old computer and made an AC to DC power inverter converter thing wasnt hard just separate wires and solder to poles on plate.
i also have an adapter that I made from old parts, got an old tamiya to vendetta adapter and took a tamiya plug off an old mech. speed control and put it on like 10 yr old banana plugs, it works very well,
If i wanted i could charge my little RC18B battery at 10a if i wated to but i might need a fire extinguisher
