Getting A Boat???

Well, its about that time of year when the ponds are nice, and i just so happen to live right across from a very nice, '8 deep (at the most) pond... so, i was wondering what kind of boat to get. I'd like to stick with something like the traxxas blask 7.2 version, or something along those lines. Also, i will be driving rather near the shore, not to far out on the pond and im sure there are different hulls that are better at different things... so help me out here guys!! lol, Thanks!!

i just re-read the tower hobbies boat review and for less $$$ it looks pretty darn nice... or do i wait for the new Blast to come out and just grab that??

i just checked out the blast and i would have to say it is a toss up between though two...i am looking at getting another boat. miss mine too much. if you get one or the other let me know how you like them.

yeah i have been checking out the blast from traxxas and if i dont win this boat i think i am going buy that one. arg...i have soo much stuff i want to do but little money...the joys of beenin in college...
