View Full Version : Evader EXT
Gentlemen.
I’m new to the RC.
I purchased a Duratax Evader EXT. Mainly because my local shop caries most of the parts and they are rather cheep. I have grown tired of the stock body. and I seem to land shinny side down alot so I would like a roll cage for my two evaders. Does anyone know of a company that sells or makes them I have looked at a few sites that I found in the back of the latest Driver and nothing seem to be the right size.
thanks

I don't think they make one for that truck, as it is more of a race/bash truck (it can do both but it is a little better for bashing).
About the only thing I can tell you in if the front end is low in the air, give it some gas, and it will pull it up, and if the front end in high a quick stab of the break in the air will drop the front end. Use those two bits of throttle controll in the air to get the truck to land flat. Also besure to let off of the throttle in the air so the truck fly's level (or make a preload adjustment to get the truck to jump level)

I too have an EXT, so far my thoughts on it are:
Cool looking truck, good beginner but and yes I say BUT damn those rear axle/pins and front control arms breaking. I am on my second set of rear axle/pins and my second right control arm. The only upside to breaking parts that are notorious on these for breaking is if you cry to Duratrax tech support they will send you a free set to make up for the weak parts. If I were to rate the truck I would give it a C only because tech support backs up defects quickly.
