I just bought a new Savage from a friend. He wanted a Savage X SS to put together so he sold me his brand new still in the box savage RTR for $370.00. I didn't need it. I already have a heavily modified Kyosho Rampage and an HPI hellfire. My son has an E-Savage an I liked it. THe new savage seemed like a good deal so I got it to run with my son. My friend has a Revo so I thought I could renew that battle as well. So what should I know about the savage and what should look at changing and hopping up? My SS savage buddy wants to trade his Bones and wheels for my RTR tires. He said he would throw in the SS GT2 body and sticker for a few bucks as well.
