okay, a little background first. i bought a rc10gt2 with an ae.15 engine on ebay, when i got it in the mail it was pratically new. no signs of wear and only one minor scratch under the chassis. i fueled it up and it fired right up and i was off to have fun. never had any problems of any kind. then on new years day i was driving it around and i clipped a trampolene post with the right front wheel/a-arm. it only broke the front bulkhead and hinge pin brace. the engine also stalled at the time of the wreck. well i let it sit for about a month and a half then finally got the parts to replace it and fixed it. well here comes the problem, when i went to restart it it took a while and it kept stalling out when the throttle was let off. i have got it running good now but it will not stay idling. i can start it up and it will idle beautifully but as soon as i start reving it up it wants to stall when i goes to idle. i will make a pass with half to full throttle and as soon as i let off and the engine slows down it starts running erradic and then dies. i have done the following:
flushed the engine out with cleaner
changed the fuel lines
replace the exhaust gasket and glow plug
checked both mixture screws and idle screw
removed carb and reinstalled for good seal
checked for leaks--none
cleaned airfilter
checked tank for cracks fuel line for air bubbles---none

thats about it. if anybody knows what i should try next i would greatly appreciate it. i'm so fed up i'm ready to give up nitro and go electric, ha! also does anybody know i fuel goes bad and if so after how long?

fuel will go bad after about a month, and if ur running the same fuel in there as u had a month ago, that's what is causing it. engines like fresh fuel, so that i think is your best bet at fixing this problem

I had a similar problem with my revo. It was the fuel. Fuel can go bad as quick as a few weeks, or could take a few months. When storing fuel for a few weeks it is a good idea to give the feul a good shake up every few days to keep it mixed well. If you do not run alot, try getting quarts rather than gallons so you do not waste your money. Have you checked your head screws? It can cause that also. Be sure you have a good seal around the head, expecially the gasket/shim.

ok i check the head screws and there good and i also bought fresh fuel and i still have the same problem. i also checked the clutch to see if it was dragging the engine down but it was ok too. i am still at a loss to whats causing my problem.
