I've a Losi Micro Raminator.
I've bought a Losi brushless Xcelorin system - speed controller and 10250 motor - then find it's NOT a straight swap.
(I've also bought a LiPo battery and charger.)
Once I opened the packaging, I read the instructions, stating as follows :
You have to ALSO buy another SERVO, SERVO SAVER and RECEIVER !!
The receiver recommended is a Spektrum micro unit (standard is speed controller / receiver as 1 unit).
I also notice there's NO mention to the transmitter, BUT the standard transmitter is a normal 27MHz, whereas the recommended Spektrum receiver is a scanning 2.4GHz.
DOES THIS MEAN I ALSO NEED TO PURCHASE A TRANSMITTER ?
The idea of a 'fast mouse' becoming totally 'feral' is extremely appealing - fitting the brushless system with LiPo - as I've also an E-Maxx with Venom LiPo + Novak HV Maxx 4.5 (that's WILD !!).
Has anyone any experience in this mega micro dilemma ?
I notice there's a 'new micro 27MHz receiver coming out by Losi - is this the 'fix' ?
