Yup Venom batteries are pretty nice. I have a Venom 3000 that I use in my WK and it works great!
DTX has some pretty good chargers too. Whats your budget? That will help you decide on alot of things.

i diont have a budget, just what ever it costs. but i would like to not spend alot. the charger i was looking at is 75 and i found venom 3300 batts for 27 ea (that includes shiping). i Wanted to get 2 of them.. so that s around 130-140 (with charger shiping).
i cant find the intellipeak twin pulse charger anywhere. what happened.
this seems like a better deal though:
ive found a Pro Max Black Widow 2amp/4amp charger and 4 venom 3000mah batteries(2 new 2 used) and a GWS variable rate amp/hour charger
i probably will sell the GWS charger if i get it.
so far its $40 +15s&h
Is the Black Widow Carger good?
sorry for all my questions everyone

Never heard of that charger.
The Venom 3300's are nice. I have a Venom 3000 and ive been impressed with it.
This is the charger I currently have : http://www.horizonhobby.com/Products/Default.aspx?ProdID=DYN4053
Adjustable charge rates and stuff, has a LCD screen, and also can do LiPos up to 3s.

i never heard of it either
but the 4 batteries alone would be around $90 on ebay
so thats why im thinking about getting it if the price is right
if the charger dosnt work good then ill use my crapy one
the charger you have is nice but alittle more that i want to send

The Twin pUlse is a pretty good charger for the money , and the Venoms would be fine for a small or stock rtr car or a slow/low power application. They won't hold up to a high power or heavy monster truck very well.
A better charger is the 977 by MRC. http://www.modelrectifier.com/search/product-view.asp?ID=1908

the batteries will be for a 1/10 buggy (rc10 gold pan) so they should be fine
WOW, now that looks like a good charger but way more than what i want to pay.
thanks for the help
im hoping to get something like the super brain 820 or 960 (that price range)

My bad, I thought you wanted a twin. The 960 is a great deal , so is the DIGITAL PIRANHA.

it doesnt have to be a twin. but i liked the idea of the twin.
im fine with getting a normal charger.

Many times it's nicer to buy two single chargers (identical or different from each other) and sometimes it's cheaper too.

If you want good cheap batteries take a look at www.all-battery.com, they have 4500mAh NiMH 7.2V stick packs for $33.99. They also have lower mAh batteries for much cheaper, 7-cell sticks are also priced well. A friend of mine who has been in the R/C plane game for 30 years put me onto these batteries and he swears these are some of the best batteries he's ever used.

Just remembered another supplier that sells batteries on ebay. Not sure how to post this info here but the seller is "dahanbay". mAh for these batteries only go as high as 3800 but sell for only $18.00 for a 6-cell stick, cheaper if you buy his lots of 2 or more. I know a couple of people who use and like them but I have not tried them myself. Seller has a perfect rating though and I haven't seen anything cheaper. Some of the bulk packs come with a charger included.

thanks for the help.
i actually found the All-Battery on Ebay
and their prices are great.
im thinking about getting the set of 4 4200mah 7.2v batteries for alittle over 100 bucks ($25 each):D
they look like good batteries and its not like im gonna race with them
hopefully my dad will be able to order them along with a charger this weekend or sooner
but im not sure which charger to get. i really like the Novak Ionic-D charger though. it chargers all battery power levels i think and it is also a discharger.

Glad you found the Ebay site. I forgot to mention that they have one. Shipping is a little more but the product prices more than make up the difference. I don't have any suggestions on chargers as all I have is a $15 Thunder Tiger Quick Charger. It does the trick and can work with AC or DC power but it seems to get pretty warm after charging a few batteries in a row. I'll just keep using it till it melts and then I'll be in the same boat as you!:D

i couldnt find the set of 4 on the site but im fine with paying the extra shipping
ya mine would have completely melted but i smelt it starting to so i stopped for the day.
it still kinda works but i dont trust it if im gonna spend 100 dollars on new batteries
