No official release date yet but I was just on Traxxas's Website and they have a video for the the brand new E-Revo!This is huge news considering all the conversion kits out there to transform the Revo 3.3 to an electric. Well I write again when i can get some specs and pricing. Please write if you are just flat out enthusiastic or have more info.

Well what do ya know, I have found out more info on the brand new E-Revo! There is way to much to point out so I'm just going to tell you how to get to the info. Go to www.traxxas.com and click the the E-Revo promo video on the home page. Let the video play, while you drool, and when the video ends click the "more" button at the bottom. From there click through the pictures and info. At the bottom of the screen are the numbers 1-15. If you click on the number 15 a whole new page opens with pictures and all kinds of details. I know this is a long process but it is well worth it.
Hey I found a better to get to the E-Revo info. Here it is.http://www.traxxas.com/products/electric/erevo5605/tour/index.htm

alright Traxxas, first it was a water resistant e-maxx, then the revo platinum, then comes slash, which I have to have, and now a e-revo. I knew it was coming, aftermarket e-revos have been very popular. Well, I guess my racing revo needs a sister truck in electric version. I need to start saving now. Whats Next Traxxas, planes, heli's, or perhaps they will heed the call on micro.....come on micro revo, maxx, pede. How about rail cars, or funny cars. Drag racing is becoming more and more popular. Drifting....well, that would be fun too. Bring it Traxxas, bring it.

According to Traxxas's Website the official release of its existence was yesterday the 25th. Although i have been watching the videos since monday but that is the non important thing. The important thing is the release date and Price. Traxxas says that the new E-Revo will be available late May. The price on the other hand is a little daunting at $800. If you dont believe me just follow the link and scroll to the bottom of the page.

man they must be nuts! it would be cheaper to buy a new e-maxx and a revo roller and you could make your own e-revo. -Wes

that's just the MSRP - take a look at the nitro Revo's MSRP and then compare it to what it really sells for. Should give you an indication of it's actual sale price.

I agree. Plus, it might be cheap enough for my budget. As I have posted in the nitro MT forums, I am looking for my first "real" truck. Meaning that it is meant for outdoors, and that it is 1/10 scale or larger. This might actually have changed my mind.

i checked the price yesterday while i was at work (at the local hobbyshop)
its gonna be right around $400-$450, thats an estimate though because all they had up was the MSRP price and the wholesale price,
i can, however, totally guarantee that the e-revo isnt below $400, so its not cheap
