View Full Version : Just picked up Juggernaut 2... You think they will be collector's items?

On kind of an impulse, I picked up a Juggernaut 2 last night off of the Bay. Won it in great shape for $200. I thought that was a good price and its in good shape.

I keep seeing Juggernauts creep up in price, so this might be one that sits on the shelf until I see if its going to be a collector or not.

Whats your take? Fun investment and keep as shelf queen, or just rag it out and have fun?

I have an EVX for it, and it looks like a lot of fun.

Looks good, but rear tires are on backwards. I bash the heck out of it if it was mine, I'd take off the body and put a lexan body on it.

I don't have it yet, those are eBay pictures. I won't have the tires on it backwards when I get it...

well, you gotta run it a little bit, that's what they are for! :) i would say run it gently, then when you tire of it, put it on the shelf. $200 is a steal, you could probably turn it around even now for more.

Here's higher RES pictures of it. It is actually in better shape then he explained it. Guy was being modest. I definitely think its worth more then the $200.

no kidding. that is in really good condition Dale. great pick-up. and yes eventually it will be a rare find so the people selling them will have them at probably the price of ebay'ed bruisers, possibly

Very good condition. It's a very collectable rc. As I am a Tamiya fan and own many Tamiya's I needs to add a Juggernaut 2 to my collection! By the way, great truck.

I loved the Juggernaut from a scale type perspective. I had one of the originals right after it was released. I bought it, built the kit, painted the body, ran 1 battery pack through then sold it on eBay for a 50% profit. Regretted it ever since.

Would like one again someday.

For pure monster truck running fun nothing beats a tamiya monster truck. LMK if you ever get tired of it.;)

nice, i love those trucks. i just scored a NIB jugg body with all the parts off the bay, going to use in on a scale chassis somewhere along the line. No one does bodies like tamiya!
