Thanks guys this is my 1st scaler, I'm collecting parts for another one.
I thought I'd show you more ,I'm pretty pround of this rig. This was pulled out of my head of times that my Dad and I shared. The 53 was his favorite work truck.
It has a complete set of concrete tools, I made most of them.

Got some wipers, working sun visors one with a mirror on it and the other with the garage door opener , rear view , fuel tank is the battery box for the head and tail and dash lights, side mirrors that fold and pop right back , rear tire carrier , skid plate/yoke protector/ trailing arms, the battery was made to look like the gas tank

i really like how your cut tires came out. a really unique look no doubt! i bet they arent the best crawling tires eh? but yet decent mudding tires.

i really like how your cut tires came out. a really unique look no doubt! i bet they arent the best crawling tires eh? but yet decent mudding tires. This rig weights in at over 10 pounds. I got a full Losi foam stuffed in each tire and they crawl great. I got all kinds of traction. They fill up with mud a little, but with the 60t motor I got there's not a lot of wheel speed to clear the tires out.

I had a little crash, after our comp I thought I'd crawl this hill and rolled over backwards a couple of times.

them there are good dogs lol how was the scale comp?
ROCKEDUPRICKY
05-28-2008, 05:44 PM
We didn't have a scale comp It was a 2.2, I won. We were just wheelin around afterwards. And they are some good dogs ,I drag them on rocks and roll them down hills and they stay right there. I have them glued to a rubber mat and then I only glued the inside edge of the rubber to the tool box and it acts like a hinge. So they can move around. I did have them glued on the tool boxes but if they hit any thing they poped right off. Besides that their feet got hot on the tool boxes.
http://i160.photobucket.com/albums/t177/CONCRETEGUY2007/DSC01346.jpg
So then I went wheelin

And on the way home I found a puppy.
