i am thinking of painting up a body for my gt2 with a monster energy theme to it. has anyone done this before? im thinking about going black and dark green with some monster energy stickers and stuff. if anyone else has done this before, post up some pics so i can get some type of general idea of a style for the body. thanks in advance- aaron

dont go dark green, the monster colors are black and like a lime/ kawasaki green. Personally i think the monster logo is whored out more than pretty much any other logo right now, but thats just me.

parma makes a color called slime green that is exactly the color you want im working on my thunder tech pro 2 and its gonna be painted like robby gordons corr truck so i took a can to the hobby shop and matched it up

ok kool thangs for the info man...what black do u think i should use? like flat black or metallic? or what?

40101 Fluorescent Yellow with maybe just a drop of Fluorescent green will get you the Monster green color.
Never heard of Slime Green?
Key Lime Pearl, but it's way too green and metallic for the Monster color.

that s it the lime green color sorry for the mix up on the name of it. if you look at a can of monster it IS metallic

dave, thanks for the chart, that is really helpful im gonna go wiwth the lime green color, anda metallic black i think...which one is the metallic black on that chart?

wait..i answered my own question...., do these colors come in spray paint cans or do you have to have a airbrush?

i think parma only sells them in bottles.
u need a brush. i got a coleman single action brush from 'fleet farm'

Pearl black is faskolors versionof a metallic black, but it is very fine metallic. If you want bass-boat bling metallic, use AutoAir or Pactra lacquer metallic flake, then black over that.

ummm nah i think ill just go with a flat black intead i think....umm since they dont comee in cans, then what else would u suggest?

Depending on how hard you drive, there are spray cans of metallics not especially formulated for lexan, but they would look cool...
