best angle is between 75-85 degrees, depending on how high ur buggy sits (ride hight), how fast ur going, and how much space you have above and in front of u...

just to give ya an idea if you need one i build mine out of a peace of plywood 8'x4' and cut it down the middle and then hinded it and it works like a champ. dont have any pictures..it is back at my house up north and i am at college.

Make it as wide as practical because you are going to be hitting it at full speed and the ramps get looking pretty narrow at 45mph.

yes yes it does. and it is a bummer when you only get one wheel on the ramp (sorry if the spell is bad i am alittle drunk right now) and break something. but yeah make it as wide as you can. 4 foot is pretty wide and plus, lost my trane of thought but yeah take a 4' by 8' preace of plywood and cut it down the middle that should make a good jump for ya.

I can't find any photos of the one we made from a single sheet of 1/4" luan plywood, but we used the entire sheet uncut. The extra length on the lead in made for smooth transition into an adjustable incline angle that could be bent almost vertical. We used the chaise lounge back support design that allowed for quick angle changes and made it so it folded nearly flat for storage under the car in the garage when not in use.
It was all 2x3 lumber for the frame.

to post pictures, get a account on photobucket or something, then upload them on to photobucket. Then after you uploaded the pics, get a link to them, and post them on here

it all really depends on the weight and speed of the vehicle. if you calculate everything properly you can get the exact angle of the jump. If you are like me and are too lazy you can download a rocket flight simulator where you put in the angle of the jump, weight of vehicle, and speed of vehicle to get the estimate flight pattern, distance, apex, and height. I found out that an hpi savage will flip through the air and land like 40 feet away from the jump at 40 mph. Either way you may be amazed by the results.
