Hello guys! I need some help....

I just bought a new Losi Eight and I can not get it started for the life of me.

I followed all the directions from Losi and no luck. It does not even sound like it is trying to start. I know it is getting fuel. I've removed the glow plug and emptied fuel from it because of flooding many times. Reset high and low speed setting to factory specs (low speed screw seems very hard to turn).
Glow plug seems to get hot to the touch, however I do not see it glow red.

Am I missing a step somewhere? Can not get it to crank no matter what and my hobby shop is closed today. Really wanted to break it in today.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions you might have!

try another glow plug, also, if ur outside heat up the head and put it into one of those things that cover your cold drink like a jacket. im no nitro expert, but after all this time reading RCD it sounds like ur engine is just not warm enough...

Thank you for the reply.

Turns out my thrifty wife bought cheap "C" batteries. I purchased some brand name batteries and it started first turn over. Broke it in until dark lastnight and when I get off work I will be rippin it up!

Thanks again,
Cob

I run continue to break it in some more. A one day engine break in for nitro engines isn't nearly enough. I recommend at least running 5-6 tanks.

30% lubrication or 30% nitro content?
