Thanks I've had one for several months now and have no complaints. I did install shock covers, fuel tank protector and a failsafe. So far the only thing that I had to replace was a one way bearing. The truck is awsome!

IMO do the XL conversion, look really cool the vantage and flm way (a conversion using FLM and vantage racing parts) anyways, the savvy is right up there in the hard-to-crack egg department (i can't believe i just typed that...)

I did break the front bevel gear.. I guess 1 to many backflips will do it:).. Overall i am impressed with how tough my truck is.. My buddy has the XL on order. I cant wait to see that thing go..

you should order the XL motor mount and motor and put it into your Savage

or get one of the 7.6/7.7cc motor conversions from hot bodies or the dual .26ci motor conversions

I thought about doing that, but where we drive the trucks it is alitlle tight and my 4.6 is got plenty of power for now..

yeah dont modify till YOUR ready. i think that the 4.6 is a beast of a motor and should fill your need till it explodes!
