edge chassis, Full droop suspension using modified t-maxx shocks and some very nice springs at the hardware store to use internally, stage 2 kit, 15Oz in front wheels, i put the batteries in the back for some weight, 55T motor and rooster crawler esc, I'm just waiting for my VF dig unit.

nice comp rig man! are you running like 12t pinion 96t spur or what? if so i would make it to 96t spur 15t pinion

I was running the stock 13t. but it was to slow. I did switch to a 15.

yeah good move gotta have some wheelspeed eh? my wk goes as fast as i walk. i run a 96t spur and 12t pinion with just enuff wheelspeed. =D

well basically whatever speed you get with the 96t 15t setup is about perfect really. i guess it depends since your going the comp way, you could go with 13t even 12t pinions. stay with the 96t spur. my wheely king runs a 96t spur and 12t pinion and its a torque whore:D

cool deal you'll be set with 87 12. i would recommend traxxas bigbore shocks though. i ran the stock shocks on my axial and my wheely king. they dont last long. $30 for 2 aint too bad. you honestly get what you pay for though. looks great man!!

Wheelbase - 12.5"
Track width - 10"
Shocks - Losi crawler 4"
Dig - VF Dig with costom made servo mount for full size high torque servo [ got sick of burning out 225's ]

very very nice crawler. i have a pti goliath with the 12.5 wheelbase:) i kinda want an ax-10. is it worth it?

I don't know what the pti is like. this is my first crawler. i figured there had to be a reason everyone was using the AX-10.

My 1st comp was yesterday at manasquan reservoir in NJ. I got 4th place out of 24 entry's. I was running a different chassis from stage 3 called Goat. The car did better than i did. The setup was very good. The rocks there are difficult because there are large gaps, but I had a great time. Heres a few pics.

how much did that cost it is a sweet setup, just wanting to know cause i am trying to get into rc crawling but its pretty hard with no know how on crawlers i only have a ruslter xl-5 i got 3 months ago!!
