gt2 is acting funny

ok my gt2 is acting kinda funny. when im running it with out the body, it runs great, but when i put the body on it, it runs rich, and the engine bogs and stuff, but as soon as i get the body of it runs normal again. even when the truck is sitting there idleing, when i put the body on, like 3 seconds later, it start running rich and dies out, what could this be? is it my tuneing?

well no i didnt cut it yet, i will probably cut it soon, i got the exhaust delflector at a hobby shop in vegas....i think it was called hobby town, u can also get them at tower hobbies, they are kinda hard to keep on though....

I the issue is that you are starving the engine form air with the body on. The reason for that is becuase there isn't enough air flow when you put the body on (you are bloking how much air can get into the ingine through the intake).

The first thing you need to do is be sure there is a large hole in the front of the body fo cooling, and for air flow, then have the body cut out around the engine and air cleaner (that helps the air get to the engine). You might also have to make a smaller hole in the side window, as to help with fueling up your car (it will also help with air flow)

right now i only have a hole where the engine and all is at, tomorrow or the next day i will drill a whole bunch of smaller holes in the front windsheild
