View Full Version : which one should i go for?

so i need your guys help kind of, i want to make a sand truck/buggy but dont know whether i want to build it out of a wheely king or use my stampede. le me know what you guys think would be a better truck. i know the wheely king is 4wd and the stampede is 2wd. just dont know what one would be better, cooler looking. thanks. and i will try and do a build thread of it also.

I vote for the stampede. independent suspension front and rear would work much better......and 2wd tosses out more rooster tails! :)

yeah go with the pede. it will be alot easier and like oldskool said independant F/R suspension will work alot better on it then a solid axle. -Wes

stampede it is...sweet...well sence i am makeing my stampede in to a sand truck..guess i am going have to buy a slash to fix my speed needs.

haha a sand truck huh? good choice going with the pede. the wheely king shouldnt be touched cause its dang near perfect! =P but yeah 2wd is the way to go in sand and you'll love the characteristics of the indp. suspension on the sand

yeah i think the pede is the way to go anyways...plus i just thought of a cool name for it...the sandpede..lol

dude i was kidding, the name sandpede is great! what color is it gunna be? it would look awesome with some yellow rims with some black beadlock rings and a crazy yellow, orange,red, and purple paintjob... or maybe just the rims and a cool black and yellow body. im ready to see this thing built!

yeah havnt really thought about the colors yet. but it might be a late start getting this this going...going home for the summer friday and starting my summer job monday...then the cash flow will be coming in..so i hope by the end of june i iwll have this pretty much all done. but for colors and patterns give me ideas.

hmmm are you painting it? skill level? or are you having someone paint for you? if so i can can give you some wicked examples...

i will most likey paint it my self, rattle can, and my skill level...i have painted a couple...but not the best at it. but i am willing to try just about anything.so yeah give me ideas or what ever.
