What is the bet truggy you can buy in all scales, and is the most fun and competitive to drive?

Kyosho ST-RR
Mugen MBX5T
Jammin CRT
Losi 8T
Associated
Thunder Tiger ST1
Ofna Mutilator
etc

It all comes down to how much money you have to play with.

With the Worlds coming up, I am sure we are going to see some new products arriving. I am looking for new releases from Mugen and Hobao. That's only my opinion but a very strong one. What may be the hot ticket is the new Jammin X2 that has been announced with an unknown release date.

Mugen is already announcing the X6 buggy so the truggy version can't be far behind.

Fastest is kind of a generic term. Fastest lap times on a track, or fastest drag racing...etc. Fastest in a drag race, they will all be pretty much the same if they have equal motor, gearing, set-up etc. Fastest on the track, alot depends on your driving style which can let some cars work better for some, while not so well for others. I love my XT8 and wouldn't trade it for any other. Mostly it comes down to everything other than speed. Reliability, availability, adjustability and cost.

Alright, so if I like to bash, compete in events, fly off jumps, and do top speed runs, which one would you recommend?

In the right hands, all the machines mentioned can win races. Sounds like you need something like the Ofna Mutilator, Robitronics Mantis or the HPI Hellfire.
For the money and durability I would check out the Jammin.....It can handle bashing on Saturday and win on Sunday.

whats the fastest haha there all fast enough thats for sure
the eight t goes 47 mph (rc drivers review for the rtr). The is the fastest stock top speed i have ever seen for a truggy. How fast it gets to speed is more important than top speed though

If your looking for durabilty for bashing and a can be competitive racer I recommend the Thunder tiger ST-1. I have read that this thing is as tough as nails.;):D my friend has one and it is about the best bang for your buck. I recommend getting from a main hobbies becuase it is about $300 and on tower it is $699.99

for bashing on a track (not actual racing, just jerkin off) it seems like the 8t is great, a bud of myn had the st1, its siting in a lake right now, but he used to run it like a rustler or sumtin, he beat on that thing never broke a thing. ive also seen good things from the turmoil, alota ppl down here in FL run them with good results.
