hum, i also ordered the dvd, but my moms phone she ordered on ebay after i ordered the dvd came a few days ago, and im still waiting........ but any ways, lipos can be dangerous, so having the right charger can make a difference, i think maxamps has a package deal with a battery pack and charger, like this:
http://maxamps.com/products.php?cat=134
this tells you what works with what, i would go for the $374 package myself, but its how much money you want to spend, and if you dont want to spend that, try
something like a 9 cell minh.

p.s., chargers with built in balancers will carry a pretty penny (i dont know if i spelled that right)

A good battery is the Kokam 4800 It's a bit pricey but well worth it it has a built in case to protect it in crashes, drops, or other abuse. Other good batteries are MAxAmps 4000-5000 2s or 3s ethier way definitely go for lipo no matter what ther rustler will burn right through a 4700mah Nicd or Nimh.:)

If you got a battery definitely cut off the Traxxas and put on Deans they conduct better and last longer but if you go with MaxAmps you can have them put on Deans.:):):)

I am currently running a 8000 3S 11.1v in my VXL's and love them...Do yourself a huge favor and buy a MaxAmps LiPo and buy the Eos06061 AC/DC all in one Charger...You will not be disappointed. There Service is Second to NONE........
