Hit the dirt oval with Roy (P47Tbolt) and got a few pics. We both picked up Slashes at the hobby shop

Roy has the "47" on the side of his. I put three decals on mine and went driving.

These things are fun on a loose dirt oval.

I really dig the scale realism on those trucks powersliding around the curve there. Do you think we have a new class in the making, or just a fun distraction?

Hard to say if new classes will spring up or not but I do know that these two Slashes are the most fun I've ever had on that dirt oval.

I am getting ready to post a few of my RC's on the bay to raise a little dough to purchase the slash, and either the axail rock racer or the E-Revo. Rock racer looks fun, but I have a load of E-revo upgrades already if they will fit off a 2.5 revo. I have been eying the slash for a couple of weeks now, and the local hobby shop has them for 189.99. I work in the oil/natural gas field and the sites I am on would be good fun for the Slash, E-Revo, and Axial. Does anyone know if the Slash is New E-maxx water proof or just esc water proof?

It's "wash it with a water hose" waterproof.

Thanx Jason. I was considering jumping it over my pit on the job site. It is around 12 foot deep, so I am hoping if I do not make the jump, it will survive...."AND FLOAT"!!!lol When is traxxas going to make a emergency inflatable raft that mounts under the chassis that you just flip channel 3 button to activate. I mean the trucks are now water proof, might as well take it 1 step further, right?!?

PS GREAT PICTURES WHAT DO YOU ALWAYS HAVE A PROFESSIONAL CAMERA TEAM WITH YOU?

Thanks

I am my own professional camera team. :D

I set the camera up and let my wife take pictures of the two of us racing.

All the shots of two trucks together or the red truck by itself were taken by my wife.

Shots of the blue truck by itself were taken by me.
