Does anyone know if Tamiya is planing to make any new 1/10 scale monster trucks along the same line as a clodbuster? I love the he!! out of my stock clod so I can only imagine what an up-to-date clod would be like. The TXT-1 doesn't count either.

They just released the CR-01, the Hilux and F-350 kits within the last 2 years. Those are some of the coolest kits on the market. They are getting back to their roots and making scale kits again.

What else would you be looking for? Those are some of the coolest trucks out and easily as cool as the Clod.

Comparing the 3-speeds to a clodbuster is like comparing apples and oranges. Those kits are cool no doubt, but they aren't monster trucks. The clodbusters tires alone are almost as tall as the new 3 speeds. The f-350 and Hilux may be okay off road but I can't do with them what I can do with a clod for fear of breaking off little things like side mirrors or exhaust pipes. I know lots of people would say "go get and e-maxx if you want a good electric monster truck" but to me it just seems so boring looking with no memorable traits unlike the clodbuster's huge engine. The bottom line is I am looking for another monster truck that I can enjoy running without having to worry about "what's going to break this time" or "what's going to have to be replaced when I run it today". I just want another good old monster truck:)

they had a posting of a unimog bodied cr-01 on their site but if you try to find it now the link just takes you to the coming soon main page. however they have a green and red cr-01 xb coming soon and the f350 xb is coming with the mfu2 installed,4 channel radio.

havent heard about a new monster , but if its a son of a clod , i'll have to get it
