I have the jammin X1 Crt RTR. I'm lookin at a new motor over the stock force 28. People say to get another force 28 because I got 8 gallons through it. I want more power in a 28 package because I club race. I was lookin at the axial .28RR, Mach 427, LPR .28. I want a pull starter or somtin I can mate my stock roto start backplate to. Also im 14 need cheap!!! 280$ MAX!!

I don't think you going to be able to use your quick start with either of the engine's you listed except for the Axial and I am sure your backplate will not fit.
I have had good luck with what you listed and the LRP is simply powerful. For a good backup engine that I had to rely on was the Mach 427. I got plenty of power and fuel economy and was converted to a bump engine. You will need to purchase the optional Losi hand held starter if you choose the 427.
The Axial engine can use the Axial or HPI 4.6 Roto start kits.

Na, no problems with the x1. Just because i got the RTR I had to replace the chassie braces. The cheap composite ones dont hold up to racin. I plan to get a X2. My friend has the x1x, basically the x2, and has had no problems.
