Im about to buy a tamiya dark impact kit and it comes with a clear shell so im gunna be cheap paintning it and use the tamiya spray cans and I need to know do you need to prime the surface first or do you just spray it derectly on, on the inside of the shell? thanks for answering

Okay its simple. No priming. U wash it with warm water and use a blow dryer until there is NO water left. From that point try not to touch the inside of the body. Apply the mask, and paint ur first coat LIGHTLY. Then put a second coat on of the same color. (make sure every coat is dry befor painting another) Then put a third on if need be. For different colors take the mask off and repeat. ALWAYS go darkest to lightest. Last coat shold be White even if u dont want to have any white. Its like a protective layer and brings color out. Hope that helps.

Even when uve painted the two colors therre should be no space for the white to show(unless u want some to show). Its a protective layer and color enrichener. It is not 100% nesceary ut it helps:cool:
