I've had my eye on the E-Savage and possibly turning it into a wild project. Anyone have a project E-Savage of their own to share?

I don't have a e-savage, but I heard that they are very good. You saw the review of it on rc universe?

Ok, I'd like to squash a rumor I heard. Someone told me they discontinued the E-Savage and something else...E-Zilla. I have been referring my soldiers interested in Monster trucks to look at the E-Maxx and E-Savage. I don't see why they would discontinue the E-Savage. So is it just a rumor? Because I'd hate to go tell these guys!
Also, the troops have read Steve Trebing's Replay in the June 07 issue. He did a brushless swap along with tires and body. But the question they keep hounding me with is how the brushless swap was done. Is there a plate to order to cover the exposed motor mounting location? Also, these guys keep tearing up drive shafts. I know on my Nitro Rustler, I had alum outdrives before swapping to CVD's. What options do they have? I don't want to loosen up their slippers just yet till they get more familar with this sport. But they are snapping the right at the base of the shaft near the yoke. So any ideas or future coverage would be great! Greg, either you or Steve need to trick out that Savage!!!! Get off your butts! Just kidding.
