This is all a repost, but we have to help out rcdriver any way we can....:p

Well it's time to rebuild the old HellCAT, when I built this rig I intended for it to evolve into a Trail Rig, but now that I have a High-lift I think I will jump into high gear and skip the evolving. I'm thinking tube framed bed and I'm going to remove the front bumper for more tire clearance. I'll need a whole new chassis for the bed to fit right.

The required artic shots, of course I don't figure I'll ever be driving over this many CD cases....LOL Seriously though the body will probably restrict a lot.

and a quick Cardboard Mock-up

I decided to swap the body for a High-lift, I'll use the jugg body on my High-lift build.

Good stuff!

I'm working on a bed that's kind of like the one you're building.

Keep it up.

Well I had several major things come up this summer, so I had to take the summer off from RC's, but things are finally getting back to normal and I'm getting back to the RC builds.

I won't bother with a lot of BS, I'll just go straight to the pics, I still need to do a lot of testing and tweaking but for the most part she is FINALLY done.

Looks mean with the cage on it.

Why not move the upper exo tubes farther out so that they protect the A pillars and roof corners?

Well that was kinda an after thought, the cage hinges so the hinges are inside the corner bends, but I think after I beat this cage to death I'll rebuild it using a straight piece of tube attached to the hinges, that way I can bring the EXO out further. I would do it now but I just want to take it out and hurt it for a while.

Yes, but it only comes in a kit form, you than have to bend and braze all the tubing together......:D

Sorry, LOL, One day I hope to be fast enough to make things like this available, but I'm still learning techniques.

You can try sales@privateerengineering.com they have a vendor forum here.

His steel work is quite exceptional and his brass work is even better. He is member of our local club so he can get them dims for the cage.
