Hi everyone,...Like Notatoy,I enjoy modding toy r/c's to perform better.
This is my modified nb crawler...I cannot claim any of these mods as original ideas,as they were taken from fellow members of another board.I only did the building:D
custom alum chassis
custom 4 link suspension
custom steering links & extensions
4th gear added to stock axles for more torque
cut stock tires
stock motors
stock elec. board wired for twin batts. for longer run time
custom nb rubicon body & decals
working head & tail lights

LSXERIC good idea and you would not be the first many people:) have made a good crawler from these toys ,as for brushless well not sure the 1/10 gears would take that but i know the 1/6 scale can .

If I did I'd custom make a steel axle that has a steel spur welded on. Also a steel pinnion. I wouldn't make a crawler etheir, It would be a some kinda car or truck. No offense against the crawlers but I love speed!:D

no offense taken lsxeric i to like speed thats why have a nitro bugie and 2 monster trucks .but i also like rockcrawlers the custom steel axel is a good idea .but in practice we have to make do with what is provided with the r/c and just improve upon it .i dont think we do half a bad job.thanks :D

Hey NAT, not a bad idea doing a custom build together, but you live in the UK and I live in the states. Texas to be exact.
