This project is a tribute to my very generous friend ZeroHax369 who left this hobby and decided to give me all of his R/C stuff to me. He is one of the greatest guys I know. For him Project Zero..
I have always liked the Traxxas Stampede. It was actually my very first off-road vehicle. It has the mixings to be a great basher.. its durable, cheap, and simple . This makes it perhaps one of the most popular bashers ever. After having two stampedes and a rustler though I got quiet tired of the transmission and of the stampede only being 2wd. I was not the only one unhappy with the stampede being 2wd and some decided to make theres 4wd by putting another transmission in the front. I never was crazy about this set up and I could just imagine landing off a jump, nose diving and seeing the motor exploding. So I have decided to make a single motor, single battery 4wd monster truck based off of the stampede. It will be a pure basher.I will be useing NTC3 differentials , and a tc3 "0" slipper in the middle. The chassis will be custom cut out of 1/4" lexan.
My objectives are quiet simple ....
-Build it like a tank
-keep Stampede stance and look
-Use as many Stampede parts as possible
-Keep it simple
I have already started on the rear end and this project is looking like its going to be very simple. I learned with a little bit of modification I can use RPM T3 rear a-arm mounts with stock Stampede rear a-arms on the front and rear. I got the rear end put together pretty well.

I will keep you guys updated as I make progress. Though I have two other projects ahead of this one so progress maybe slow.
Peace
