look into a rc4wd r2. depends on your check book tho. if its big go for the r2 with dig. if not and you want money somewhere else then look into the stock axial ax10 scorpion locked tranny.

there are many choices in both segments. with the Losi mini crawler and the cliff climber im sure competetive 1.9 crawling will grow. but 1.9 is more scale/trail rig size cause you get more realistic characteristics. The 2.2 scale is a general/more comp oriented class. there are many comps for the 2.2 class as well and there are the ever growing trail runs for the 2.2 class. but its all up to you and where you want to run it and how much money you want to put into it. jus make sure your happy with what you get and look for the best support for your truck. axial would be the way to go in the 2.2 class even though i swear by the wheely king, and the Losi mini would be your best bet for the 1.9 side of crawling. hope the .02 helps!

Thanks for the help. Ive decided on the rc4wd r2, axial ax10 axles, and tires, rims, and electronics are still pending. I will definately make a blog about the build.

you can also make your truck a 1.9 by jus putting on 1.9 rims and tires. jus have to watch for clearence issues if you go that route sometime! i'm excited to see the build thread!
