Many probably already know but losi has released brushless engines for 1/8 vehicles. Just wanted to know how these stand up to castle, and novak. also Who thinks traxxas should release a 1/8 brushless engines? would be a cash cow for them. but would this losi engine be good for my erevo??

Im not sure how the losi 1/8th brushless would compare with the others out there but I have had an amazing experence with novak HV pro 4.5 brushless combo. Amazing torqe with great top end for a revo brushless 2.5. Any time I race anyone with a brushless system, my revo passes them by.:D Go to my posting in Show what you drive and you will see how my revo turned out with a brushless system.
Would like to also see traxxas come out with a 1/8th brushless system. If you have any more ?s let me know.

I might have to get Castle Creations 1/8th brushless combo for another future project I have. I have herd on the grapevine that it performs flawlessly.

right. castles deal is better, just wondered how it would hold up considering the fact that they put it in the 8-ight. many people say that when you put that 4.5 novak in it good for topspeeds, but overheats way too much in the e revo.

Taylor just to let u know a brussless system is a motor not engine. And yes traxxas would be killer with an rtr 1/8 scale motor combo to match the velion system!

in any case a nitro engine is called a motor or an engine. and there are people that call electric engines or motors. technically a motor is something that moves or does something same with an engine. you look at your 1:1 car and say the engine or motor is bad preety much the same.:D but your right most call elec. engines motors. but i don't sorry.;) I think traxxas will it would be killer. and im just waiting for the castle combo to come out and then i'll be getting it. but if traxxas comes out with one first i may just pick up that one. typical traxxas not to say anything until it comes out the day before.

I think Traxxas would have to produce a true 1/8 scale before they starting making upgrades for them.....

true but they put the revo in 1/8 scale in races. in any case they need to make a brushless engine for the emaxx and erevo. :D
