I like that Chevy! What a great choice for you to interact with your daughter. One time I tried to teach my daughter morse code to get her ham radio license but she just did not have the interest like I did. I should have been into RC trucks. LOL Dave

I like the roll cage on the outside. Is that a wire mesh that you used for the roof rack?
grahamg

Yes on the roof rack it's wire mesh brass shapes solderd. the roof rack was the 1st thing i soldered then had a mad idea to do a full cage around the body of the truck

I can vouch for the Xtrail, it's a sweet chassis! the stock axial parts bolt right on. Never did the droop shocks though, i used touring car shocks but it came together really well.
rcjwp i will most likely start tearing my Xtrail down soon and rebuilding with TLT axles as i have a NIB juggy body set here somewhere and the Ax10 axles are too wide for the scale look. Think that would make a good combo! i might start in after i finish my trail jeep (might be a while though)
grahamg, truck looks great! Welcome to the forums.

So the TLT axles are more narrow than the axial axles?
