Well i bought this from dale gribble on the bay and i was not looking for a new car but just happened to come across this and i tried to buy it from him before and he was not ready to let it go.well doing some reserch on the new x2 and bce i decided to not buy a new one and spend the money to mod an oldie but goodie.well i started off by contacting bill at bce and ordered a new chassis from him ( which is just like the x2 chassis and very light) found some new in package hong nor 16mm big bores some carbom fiber mudguards upgrade rc wheel dots ( but i now have proline lprs on order ) fresh fluids and a good cleaning of the old parts that i was going to use and this is how it turned out i am very pleased with this truggy as it is very light and looks great!!!the body is for my mutilator just for show as i have a new body waiting for paint i have a new airbrush on order so i will post that when it is done. Also i have an ace 1015 servo on the way with 201oz torque for steering it should get the job done. Thanks to mr gribble for thie very well kept jammin and another reason for a new project . Will post more pictures when the boby is done.

Hey tmaxx junkies. Why is there a fuel filter on the vent tube. The piece of fuel line for the tuned pipe to the top of the tank? Am I that far behind or is it just there because it wants to be?

this is just a mock up build . The spektrum servo is going to be replaced by a ace 1015 201 oz tq. Digi servo and the os .28xz motor is going to be replaced by a eb mods trinity .24 extech but that motor is 359.00 and will have to wait .this will not see any action this year unless i take it to the indoor track by chi town.

well 2 are to the motor to hold more fuel and i was told it is good to have one on the exhaust so i will try it and see if it makes any differance

Looks good. I have been using a fuel filter as a exhaust gas cooler. I tie mine down towards the front of the truck to keep the air moving across it. I am not for sure about the true effects that is has but this week while racing in a 20 mintue A-main, I pitted for fuel only once. When the race was over the engine was only at a 198 degrees. So, she was running a little rich but still provided me with 10 minutes of fuel. I will take those results any day of the week and twice on Sunday !
