This is my latest project. It was originally one of those NewBright snowmobiles that go like 4 mph, barely steer, and the gears grind a horrible tone. Anyway, I decided to turn it into a nitro powered sled that can do 30 mph easy. I will get pics soon.

Man a nitro motor is on going on that thing whoo-wee! What are the front shocks friction or oil filled. Also seems as no suspension in the rear for the track, am I correct.

actually, it has an internal spring and that is why there is a shaft through it at the back. I might swp it out for a monoshock setup

I have decided to rebuild it completely. I am going to make it extremely scale looking and make it significantly larger to power it by a weedwhacker engine.

I wouldn't worry too much about nitro dying off. Like I accidentally said in my thread "brushless with be the death of nitro", nitro will always have a market so long as nitro enthusiasts like yourself continue to buy them. You already own a nitro so your doing your part to keep it alive. Besides nitro can't die out yet, I think I'm actually starting to warm up to it a little bit.;)

They never have before and nitro still survived. Besides even a hardcore electric enthusiast like me isn't completely against buying a nitro...

ya nitros never gunna leave to many people like that challenge of tuning tweeking and fixing plus they offer the most compitition for drivers and pit guys plus nitro one day is gunna come along with some major breakthrough that will probebly put them back on top (gasp I just said nitro could be better one day:eek:) but in the end electric good because it is affordable, and doesnt take up alot of time and yet is still just as fast or faster then nitro so they break about even
