dark impact gearing?

Im running a 80tooth spur gear I think and Im about to switch to a 12t motor what size pinion should i get?

Probaly 16-23 tooth would be your best bet.

sweet i even have one of those on me i think its like a 16-24 pinion gear set all even amount though would a 16tooth be faster with slower accel compared to say a 20 tooth? I have no idea im really confused

Okay this is the easyist way. Smaller spur more top speed, bigger spur faster accleration less top speed. Smaller pinion more accleration, less top speed. Lager pinion more top speed. Like this on stampede/ rustler gearing. 31/76 is for the best top speed, but higher temps. 15/90 is for best acleration. Keep in mind that you dont want to over load etheir way.
