 Hi all, I'm having problems with where my glow plug screws into the top of the engine. The problem is that it just keep going and never actually tightens, so I don't have any compression. So I was wondering if anyone else has had this problem and what they did to fix it. I think it's because I tried to tighten the glow plug too much that last time I had it out and I stripped the threads in the head of the engine, because the glow plug I just tried to put in was nip, so I tried the old one and got the same result. Thank you in advance to anyone who can help

Sounds like the head is stripped. What engine is it? Some use a head button, that can be replaced. Others use a one piece design that includes the cooling head into the button, like Traxxas 2.5R's, for example.

Yes you did strip it. Buy a new head button.

You guys are right, it has a head button which is cheaper to replace then the whole head (My wife already thinks I spend too much money on my truck):D That's the good news. Bad news is the LHS won't have it until next week.

... (My wife already thinks I spend too much money on my truck):D ...
I'm gonna try this line with my wife:
Cost of Women's Shoe Stock in Closet >= Cost of RC Monter Truck Stock in Garage
