Rc18 moter window, can i cover it?

on the rc18t there is a small window under the moter. can i cover this with a small peice of lexan with out having the moter overheat? would putting a heatsink on the moter help?

I would think putting a heat sink on would help enough to cover the whole but dont do it unless sombody else says because i have no idea:confused:

Yep , you can cover the hole , I do it when I am running in dirt .

I just use a piece of clear tape , then peel it off when it gets dirty .
