Here are some more pics. Everything has been replaced with HR aluminum parts.
Losi Excellerion and a spectrum 2.4 reciever.
It looks cool but until I can get it adjusted I don't know how well it runs.
Thanks for the input.

Try your local ACE/True value hardware store they sometimes are good about small hardware. I have found tiny thing in their bins. Good luck.

I don't recall How much it cost. I remember that it was more than my first real car (a 73 pinto back in 1982). It is just one of my cars now that I'm all growed up:D.

All screws for gearbox too tight maybe. Usually gear case squeezes differential stopping movement. If that doesn't work, some thing is not together right. Beautiful micro, good luck.

The gear on the motor is on backwards. Teeth towards motor, smooth end out.

It's been a long time but eureka i've got the fix.The old mod tells you to machine the plastic gear. Bad idea.I realized that if you machine the outer washer like edge on the metal replacements so they are the same as the plastic ones they replace, it is almost bullet proof. the other vital key to this mod is to use thick grease like axle or bearing grease for a car. The silicone gear oil they give you always seems to make the outer gear split. It took four rear ends to get here and this time it's unbreakable.(10 250 kv motor w/ 11.1 v lipo)
